Our base is Ocoee, Florida, a small lakeside town just west of Orlando whose name comes from a Cherokee word meaning "apricot vine place." There's something fitting about making blinds and shades in a place where the sun comes hard off Starke Lake by nine in the morning.

Our other base is Melbourne, Florida, on the Space Coast between the Indian River Lagoon and the Atlantic, with Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral just up the coast. It's one of Florida's biggest aerospace hubs, home to L3Harris, Northrop Grumman, and Embraer.
